Welcome to IPAS Admissions

The Institute of Professional Athletic Support (IPAS) prepares the next generation of caddies, water technicians, towel specialists, and crowd conduct coordinators. Admission to IPAS is selective and based on a combination of skill, dedication, and composure under mild-to-moderate athletic pressure.

Admission Requirements

Applicants to IPAS must demonstrate both physical competence and refined emotional restraint. The following materials are required:

Completed Application Form (available via the Apply Now page)
Letter of Intent (500–700 words) outlining your philosophy of support
Proof of Hydration Safety Certification (Level II or higher)
Two references — at least one must be from an athlete or coach
Optional: Video submission demonstrating towel-folding technique under time constraints

Important Deadlines

Early Decision: March 15
Regular Admission: June 30
Late Consideration (Water Staff Only): July 15

Selection Process

Each application is reviewed holistically by our Admissions Committee. Candidates demonstrating composure, humility, and a working knowledge of sports etiquette are prioritized. Shortlisted applicants will be invited for a brief interview and a practical evaluation involving situational awareness and controlled enthusiasm.

Financial Aid

IPAS offers a range of scholarships and bursaries, including the Hydration Excellence Award and the Caddy Legacy Grant. All applicants are automatically considered upon submission of their application.
